£20 per hour plus travel*

Depending on your particular circumstances, it may be tempting to schedule a “double” session. Whilst I have no problem with this in principle, I would recommend against it from the perspective of attention span and information retention. The vast majority of students get far more out of two one-hour sessions than one two-hour session.

If you have more than one family member wanting tuition, or if neighbours, friends or school-mates want tuition at the same time, the double-session can be a great way to get the most out of a tutor’s time. In these cases, sessions can be scheduled simultaneously or sequentially.

I will not generally do three-hour sessions as my own attention begins to suffer, and I cannot give my best to my students.

Examples:

If you live 2.5 miles from my location, the additional fee would be £2.00 per session

If you live 5 miles from my location, the additional fee would be £4.00 per session
